Building on the success of Scénic I and Scénic II, and benefiting from its

travelling comfort, Renault has renewed the compact MPV segment's

standard-setting model with the launch of New Grand Scénic (with seven

seats) and New Scénic (five seats).

New Scénic and New Grand Scénic both feature dynamic, distinctive styling,

while their roomy interiors, stowage solutions and high-tech equipment are destined to set new standards in their category.

Welcoming

Seat Ergonomics: With a more 'upright' steering wheel and lumbar adjustment available from entry, the New Scénic offers a more comfortable driving position.

Controls: The controls have been grouped together on the central console, which allows more intuitive access for easier and safer driving.

Spacious, clever storage solutions: Including drawers under the front passenger and driver seats, storage compartment under the front passenger and driver seats. 

More boot space: The New Grand Scénic is 7cm longer than the existing Grand Scénic.

Exceptional Interior Space: The increased length is utilised more efficiently with the adaptability and flexibility of the second and third row seats (individually folding and removable).

The New Scénic offers the driver some very smart technological driving aids, some of which are oulined below.

New TFT (Thin Film Technology) screen: Unique for this sector, the TFT screen improves the readability of the information displayed. In addition, it gives the driver and passengers the flexibility of customising th screen (colour and information).

Carminat TomTom Integrated Navigation System: Exclusive to Renault in 2009. The well-known TomTom Navigation system is now fully integrated into your Scénic - no more giveaway wires or suckers on the windscreen.

New audio and visual parking sensors: Another innovation new to Scénic, Renault have introduced sensors to make parking easier and have gone a step further with the reversing parking camera.

New range of radios with integrated TunePoint: Available at all levels, plus the Arkamys system which aims to maximise the sound quality of any type of music.

Driver Confidence

Steering Control: This has been developed to reduce 'body roll' and improve handling.

Comprehensive range of engines: these give the customer a greater choie, from the eco2 dCi 106 to the new powertrains; TCe 130 petrol and dCi 160 diesel.

Ethical

We at Renault respond to our environmental responsibilities by commiting to the development of Eco2 vehicles. Renault have developed engines in order to help reduce their impact on the environment. Engines that will be eco2 compliant are the dCi86 (New Scénic only) and dCi 106.
